The college library is small in size, but maintains a high standard. The total number of books in the library is near about XXXXX. It, however, includes varieties of excellent books. The library contains text books on ‘Education’ as well as on other subjects, reference books (Journals, Encyclopedias on different subjects etc.) and general books.
The University provides the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) course with the aim to impart quality teacher education for the pre-service teachers of secondary and higher secondary levels. Under the broad domain of the applied discipline of Education, the B. Ed curriculum has been framed on the basis on the recommendations of the reports of UGC Curriculum Review Committee (2002), West Bengal Higher Education Council (2002), NCTE (2000 and 2001) and the statutory bodies of the University of Kalyani. The course offered in this college is the degree in "Bachelor of Education" under the Kalyani University.
